You can divide the student loan interest based on how many months you lived in one state then the other. For example, if your student loan interest is $1200 and you lived in state A for 3 months and then moved to state B - $300 belongs to state A and $900 belongs to state B.
In general, what you paid on the federal level, is also the same amount what you paid on the state level, if you are resident of a specific state. The allocation applies if you move from one state to the other (as it is in your case most likely).
