How do I file for my 2024 student lifetime learning credit

You cannot do that.   You cannot stick 2024 information onto a 2025 tax return.    You can amend your 2024 tax return to include the 1098T.    You cannot put a 2024 tax document on a 2025 tax return.

 

To amend 2024:

Use a mailing service like certified mail  to track so you will know it was received since you will have a long wait.

 

Do not expect quick results from amending. It can take four months or more for the IRS to process an amended return.
