How do I enter interest paid on loan without 1098 form

Follow these instructions to enter your mortgage interest with or without a 1098 on TurboTax Deluxe CD/Download:

1. Continue your return
2. On the top right, select search and type 1098
3. Select "jump to 1098" 
4. When you see "Did you pay any home loans in 2017?", select "yes"
5. Enter your mortgage lender (Name of lender)
6. When you see "Tell us more about your loan" select all that apply
   
7. Continue through and answer the questions about interest, etc.
8. If this is a seller-financed loan, you will need the social security number or employer identification number of the seller (not the same as a bank)
9. If it is a bank, not seller financed you are done, and don't need anything else
