How do I claim a student loan Ive been paying on if it's in my mother's name?
No, unfortunately, you cannot claim the student loan interest deduction if your name is not on the loan.
Your mother can claim the deduction even if she did not pay the interest.

No, unfortunately, you cannot claim the student loan interest deduction if your name is not on the loan.
