How can I claim my 18 years high school son

So, my son just turned 18 and he is still in high school and is a full dependent on me and I pay for his private high school tuition.  How can I get credit for fully supporting him and how do I claim him.  It said I can no longer claim him as a child since he is 18 now and I get no child credit since he is 18 and no longer considered a child.  But he is fully dependent on me, mother.  Thanks.

That is not what it said. You can still claim him as a dependent, but he doesn't qualify for the child tax credit because of his age. The child tax credit is a totally different thing than claiming him as a dependent.

How can I claim my 18 years high school son

My son just turned 18 in March of this year. He is still a full time student in high school and just recently got a job a couple of days ago. He will go to college in the fall, plan to move to the area where he will go to college, so do I claim him as a dependent for the upcoming year?
