If your AGI is over the limits, you will get 2 messages:
- Your AGI to too high
- You don't have net qualified expenses
If you are only getting the second message, type education in the search bar and use the Jump to education link. Go back through the questions slowly and make you have all the checkmarks and numbers from the 1098-T entered (box 8). Also, review the student follow-up questions.
Then save and close the return. Reopen the return and try this - type letme into the search bar and use the Jump to letme link to get to the Education Maximizer. See if that makes a difference.
