Hello! I wanted to know why TurboTax is saying that I do not get anything for the Tuition and Fees Deduction, even though I included all of my information correctly.

I did however recieve the American Opportunity credit.

You can’t get both education credits at the same time.

TurboTax has calculated that the American Opportunity Credit saves you more money on your taxes than the Tuition and Fees Deduction would.
