Does anyone know why I cannot claim the Dependent Care Credit even though I qualify with earned income? I have to select either a disabled or full-time student.

We cannot see your screen or your tax return.  Have you entered a qualified child dependent under the age of 13?   Have you entered the income you earned from working?   If you were self-employed you will not get the credit if you show a loss.  If you are filing a joint return you need to show earned income from both of you--or be able to enter that one of you is a full-time student or that one of you is disabled.  And of course you must enter the SSN or Tax ID of the childcare provider who was paid to take care of your child so you could work.
