I have my work w2's but i am waiting on my school information can i file my work w2's now and then come back and file my school information later when I get it?

Do not file until you have all of your information. Once you file a return, the only way to change it is to file an amended return and the IRS will take 4 to 5 MONTHS to process it. So wait until you have all of your information and file it only once.
