Do I need to report scholarships/grants I've gotten from school?

You may need to report these on your return, depending on your situation.

To see if these go on your return, you should enter your scholarships and grants into TurboTax (see the FAQ below for guidance), and the answers you provide in the interview process will help determine whether these need to be reported on your return.

Where do I enter a scholarship, fellowship, grant, or other financial aid I received?
