Do I need to file 1098-t for 2017 if I didn’t go to college in 2017?

I filed my taxes about a week ago. I didn’t think I needed to enter any information about receiving financial aid because I didn’t use it in 2017. I didn’t start college until 2018, therefore I didn’t use the financial aid until 2018. Do I need to amend my tax return to include this? Im confused because I didn’t use any of the money in 2017.

No, you will not need to amend your 2017 taxes to add form 1098-T since you did not attend school in 2017.
