Why is Tuition and Fees Deduction still showing expired?

Changes in tax law cannot be implemented instantly. The IRS has to issue revised forms and instructions for software companies, and the software companies then have to make the changes in their software, test it, and get IRS approval for the changes. The law reinstating the Tuition and Fees Deduction for 2017 was passed less than two weeks ago. The IRS just released the revised forms and instructions two days ago. TurboTax tentatively expects to have the software updated or the Tuition and Fees Deduction by this Friday, February 23.
