Can we claim American Opportunity credit without the 1098T? School closed in Nov 2016 and voluntarily withdrew accreditation - Missouri College in Brentwood, MO

My daughter has the financial agreement and her bank statements showing payments made and the school was accredited until November.

yes you can file and claim AOC.  You need to put your tuition and fee costs in the box for "expenses without F-1098-T.   And then attach a note to the return stating why you don't have 1098-T and that you can provide proof of expenses paid.
