Can I use my daughters tuition and 1098-T in my deductions?
My daughter's mother will be list her as a dependent and I will list my high school age son as my dependent. My daughter goes to a out of state college but maintains her residents in my home 100% of the time. After scholarships, grants and loans, I have paid for her out of pocket tuition cost of $3000. Her mother does not paid for any of these cost. Can I deduct any of her tuition from my taxes even if her mother list her as a dependent?

Unfortunately, only the individual who claims the child as a dependent can claim educational deductions or credits no matter who paid the expenses.
