Can i count a child as living with me if they are in college?

If the child was living with you and will return to your home after college, then you can count the child as living with you as absences for attending college are considered temporary absences.

Being away at school, even if living off campus, is considered a temporarily absence from the parents home. As such, the student is considered as living with the parent during that time.
