We paid our sons' tuition bills with student loan funds and their own savings. Since they are dependents, do I get to claim the entire amount on the 1098-T. This question has probably been asked, but I can't find it! Thanks for the help.

Whoever claims the student as a dependent on their tax return (student or someone else), is the one who can claim qualified education expenses paid out of pocket or with loans for credit or deduction. It doesn't matter whose funds they actually were from.
