Books and materials required by my classes were not required for enrollment but required for classes. These items are not sold by my school, can it still be a deduction?
Would my semester registration fee also fall under a deduction as it was a separate fee I had to pay for enrollment?

Yes, the books and enrollment fees are qualified expenses. See below for other examples.
