Attending a foreign institution

I attend a foreign institution as a full-time graduate student, but at a university that is not on the list of accredited institutions listed by the U.S. Department of Education. I am entirely self-funded. It seems that I don't qualify for the AOTC, but are there other credits that could be applied towards my education expenses?

No. Even the lesser Lifetime Learning Credit requires that you attend a school on the DOE list.

"An eligible educational institution is any college, university, vocational school, or other postsecondary educational institution eligible to participate in a student aid program administered by the U.S.
Department of Education." (Pub 970)
