1098-T from Multiple Schools

I have two 1098-T statements from different schools. For one school, I was considered half-time and for the other I was not. When using TurboTax I ensured that what was on box 7 for each school was accurate. There is a separate screen that asks if I was at least half-time, if I select yes for the first school (for which I was half-time according to box 7) it automatically changes it for the second school. What am I supposed to do in this case?

Nothing. You do not need to adjust.

As long as the one 1098-T shows at least half time, both 1098-T will count.

According to the IRS:

“Student must be enrolled at least half-time for at least one academic period that begins during 2024 (or the first 3 months of 2025 if the qualified expenses were paid in 2024)”
