Why is TurboTax preventing me from filing due to Schedule-R when I do not qualify under Schedule-R

Delete Schedule R

Click on Tax Tools on the left side of the online program screen

Click on Tools

Click on Delete a form

Thank you for your response but I have tried this multiple times over the past 2 days and it doesn’t allow me to delete it. Every time I delete it and then go back to review/file, the message is that I cannot file until Schedule-R  becomes available.  I am convinced this is a programming issue with TurboTax but uncertain how to get their attention on this problem.

Taxpayers use Schedule R (Form 1040) to figure the credit for the elderly or the disabled. The credit is based on your filing status, age, and income.

Revisit the credits section and review your entries:

• Login to your account.
• Select Federal from the left menu.
• Go to Deductions and Credits.
• Scroll all the way down to Other Deductions and Credits.
• Select Update/Revisit next to Elderly or Disable Credit.
