Why don't I have a Schedule A form this year?
The standard deduction amount increased significantly in 2018 as part of the tax reform changes that were passed in the Tax Cuts and Jobs Act of 2017.
Therefore, in order to itemize deductions on your return, the total needs to be more than the standard deduction amount.
If your itemized deductions were not more than $12,000 single/MFS, $18,000 for head of household or $24,000 for a joint return (plus additional for over 65 and/or blind), then your return would not have used the itemized deductions and no Schedule A would have been generated.
Check the amount of line 8 of your 1040 form to see which deduction was used on your returnn.
