Why does my state tax return say there is federal statutory wages schedule c when I am not a private contractor or have my own business ?

Schedule C is used to report wages and expenses you had as a statutory employee.

Yes i understand that, but a statutory employee is a independent contractor employee and I am not a independent contractor.
