Why does it show business and individual credit when I am trying to claim the education expense credit? I am not a business nor am I self-employed.

It has never auto-filled that part before and I have done the education expense credit for at least 6 years running.

May I suggest you delete that section and start it again from scratch.

I think you are referring to the State of Georgia Education Expense Credit, yes?  If so, I am having the same problem and, like you, have claimed this credit many years in the past without this problem from TurboTax.

That form is for organizations providing scholarships to individuals.  As an individual student you have no need to fill that form out. Please follow the suggestion made by @Critter-3 and delete the form.

Here's the general procedure for viewing the forms list and deleting unwanted forms, schedules, and worksheets in TurboTax Online:

1. Open or continue your return in TurboTax.
2. In the left menu, select Tax Tools and then Tools.
3. In the pop-up window Tool Center, choose Delete a form.
4. Select Delete next to the form/schedule/worksheet in the list and follow the instructions.
