Where on schedule c do i deduct the cost of a new computer for my business

Computers generally are considered assets which are depreciated on the tax return over the useful life of the computer. It should be logged as an asset on your return and then depreciation should be calculated. The program will walk you through how to do that step by step.

If you feel like this is not an asset but an expense, you could create a computer expense category and add it there in the program as well.
