Where do I report capital losses from a C corp that has dissolved?

We invested in a small start-up C corporation in 2014. The company has dissolved and said we can report our initial investment as a capital loss. However there is no official tax form, they said, because they are a C corp. So, where do I report our losses? No money was ever made in this investment. We just lost our initial investment ($4000).

The sale of your interest in the C-Corp stock would be reported in the Investment section of Turbo Tax.

• Select Federal Taxes
• Select Wages and Income
• Select Show More at Investment Income
• Select Start or Revisit at Stocks, Mutual Funds , Bonds, Other
• Select No you did not get a 1099-B for this transaction
• Select Stock for type of investment
• Enter your sale information
