Where do I input use tax that should appear under "taxes and licenses" on Schedule C?
From within your Federal Return-
Go to the search box in the upper right, type schedule c, click search
This will bring up a "Jump to Schedule C" link -Click this link;
This will bring up your schedule C entry section. If you have already entered information, click EDIT, Otherwise go to Expenses;
Scroll Down until you find : Add Expenses for This Work;
Scroll Down and select: Less Common Expenses;
Taxes and Licenses is in this section.
If you made purchases for your business that result in having to pay Use Tax, then you can deduct the Use Tax paid in the Taxes and Licenses area.
