What do boxes 12a-d, and boxes 14 usually have to do with on the W-2 Fill out? My W-2 says see instruction, but I cant find them?

Box 12 of the W-2 contains important information, such as information about contributions to a retirement plan. Box 14 is a catch-all for items that don't have a dedicated box on the W-2. The FAQs below provide additional information.
