So far, using TurboTax Desktop version I am unable to electronically file Forms W-2 for Tax Year 2024.
Has anyone received a update to allow for the e-filing of Forms W-2 on the desktop version?
Is there a way to transfer my data from the desktop version to the online version so that I don't have to re-enter everything?

Just to be clear, you e-file your tax return which is form 1040 and attached forms and schedules. You don't "file a W-2".
Having said that, what happens when you try to file your return? Do you get an error message? Since we can't see your private tax data, it's hard for us to help you without some additional context.
Yes, there is a way to upload your desktop tax data to the Online system, but you don't want to do that. Instead, work with us to tell us what's happening when you try to file your 1040. I don't of any reason why you can't e-file right now from the desktop product.
It is not a Form 1040 that I am trying to e-file. It is employer Forms W-2. According to TurboTax Employer Forms W-2 can be e-filed using TurboTax but the e-file functionality is not available in the desktop version. Supposedely the e-file function for employer forms W-2 is available in the online module so I would like to be able to transfer data from destop to online version.
It depends. Have you used the Quick Employer Forms feature in Turbo Tax? It is available in the Turbo Tax interview when it asks the question "Did you pay any employees".
