Where did you enter your education expenses? This is an individual credit. You should see the credit on line 3 of your Schedule 3 or on line 29 of your form 1040.
You can see this using TurboTax Online by logging into your return then clicking the following:

I used my Georgia Form IT-QEE-SSO1 under the Qualified Education Expense Credit. This was in the Georgia credits section.
@ddtkdorsey that form is for organizations providing scholarships to individuals. As an individual student you have no need to fill that form out.
I am having the same problem. The credit is showing up TWICE as both the 'Education Expense Credit' AND 'Business and Individual Credit. It should be appearing only once as the 'Education Expense Credit'. I have not had this problem when claiming the credit in the past.

Thank you for the reply. Deleting that form makes sense, but I am unsure how to do that. I checked in both in 'Interview' section and the 'Forms' section. In the 'Forms' section, it appears this credit is listed on Form IT-QEE-TP2, but there is no indication in section 'B' or 'C' that I am trying to claim this credit.
Any assistance is appreciated, thank you.
Here's the general procedure for viewing the forms list and deleting unwanted forms, schedules, and worksheets in TurboTax Online:
Run the state review again before you proceed to file.

I’m having the same problem. I’ve looked for the form to delete it but there’s not one. I’m using Form IT-QEE-TP1 which is the form I’ve used every other year and not had a problem. It’s still giving me this credit twice and I can’t delete it.
Hi,
I had to call Intuit/TubroTax about this and got to speak with an Enrolled Agent. In short, the program is correct. If you go to the 'Forms' section, see Georgia Form 500, page 3, lines 20-21. Line 20 is the amount of the credit ($2,500 if you took the max.) and line 21 is simply a sum of lines 17-20. Assuming you had no other credits, line 21 should be the same as line 20.
The Enrolled Agent agreed the step-by-step portion of the program is deceptive in that it looks like you are claiming 2 credits (Education Expense, Business & Individual), but you are actually only claiming one. You don't know this unless you look at the form to see the details.
In addition, there is currently a software glitch in at least the CD/download version that prevents entering the credit #, your name, certificate #, credit amount appearing on the same line. The Enrolled Agent was going to bring this up to the attention of others. However, this shouldn't effect our ability to file.
Hope this helps.
Thank you so much!!
Glad to help -- and hopefully next year Intuit returns the program back to the way it has been every year in the past where the only credit that appears in the program is the 'Education Expense Credit'!
Thank you! I had the same issue and was about to pull my hair out but found your dialog on the issue. Thank you!
