Turbotax home & BUSINESS has a federal review error stating on sched c the answer to qualified business has not been entered. how do I get turbotax to fill it in?

There are some questions that maybe you missed. Try this:

Business Income & Expenses....update
Edit your business
Says your_____Business at the top of the page (see screenshot)
Click continue at the bottom...you will see the questions
