TurboTax Deluxe 2025 025.000.0225 doesn't recognize that I have entered my 1099-G information

I entered the information for my 1099-G in TurboTax (Windows Desktop), but the "Wages & Income" screen still says that the form is "Available now". Since I entered the information, it should show the amount of my state tax refund.

I am able to enter an IRS form 1099-G in TurboTax Desktop Deluxe and report a state refund from 2024.

If you are not able to successfully enter the form, consider closing the software and re-starting TurboTax.

Consider manually updating TurboTax Desktop.  See this TurboTax Help.

Thank you for replying, but your answer is unclear.

I was able to enter the 1099-G info.  That's not the problem.  The problem is that after having this information entered, the "Your 2025 Income Summary" display continues to show "Available Now".  It should show the amount of the state tax refund from the 1099-G form.

Sometimes the display on the Income Topics does not automatically update after you completed a section.

In TurboTax Online, clear your  Cache and Cookies, then re-open the program to see if the display updated.  The display error does not affect your actual tax return, though. 

If you want to look at your return, in the left-side menu choose Tax Tools > Tools, then 'View Tax Summary' from the pop-up menu.  Back at the left-side menu, choose 'Preview My 1040'.

Are you using the Desktop program?  I think I've seen posts about that.  Seems just to be a display issue.  You can switch to Forms Mode and check your forms.  But If you took the Standard Deduction last year on federal then the state refund is not taxable and you don't even need to enter it.

Yes I just checked my Desktop Home & Business program.  I put in my 2024 state refund and went though all the screens.  It still says Available Now on the Income Summary Page.  I wouldn't worry about that.
