Trying to Amend my 2024 Return

I just spent I really long time trying to amend my taxes to include my losses from the Tropical Storm Helene Disaster. Now I am getting this message:

Your transmission didn't go through

We could not e-file your return for the following reason:

The Intuit Electronic Filing Center is closed for the 2024 Personal Income Tax filing season. November 15, 2025 was the last day to file returns electronically.

How do I file my amended return?

You have to print and mail prior year returns including amended returns.  Just ignore the message.  Print it out.

So should I just print and mail all the e-file stuff that TurboTax gave me? There are a bunch of TurboTax E-Filing pages at the beginning, and then some payment vouchers (I guess from when I already paid my taxes?)

You only need to print and mail the official IRS forms. The pages for your own use are typically marked "Do Not File" or "For Your Records." Don't include those pages. Unless you're including payment, you don't need to send a payment voucher either - or Forms 1040-ES for estimated taxes.
