Should box 14 add to the total income? Have 9000.00 but total income does not reflect additional income from box 14

Not every item in Box 14 on your W-2 is income.  What is the description for that item?

The amount in your Box 14 of your W2 likely represents income not subject to tax.  If that's the case, the amount would not be included in your Box 1.

Employers use Box 14 to report various types of information.  Ask your employer if you're not sure what your Box 14 amount is for.
