I have rental property but do not have a business such as an LLC. Turbo tax is forcing me to create a schedule c with information I don't have. what should I do?

Rental income is reported on a Schedule E.  To get there in online:

1.  Click Federal on the left-hand side menu.

2.  Click Income & Expenses across the top.

3.  Scroll down to Rentals, Royalties, and Farm and click Show more.

4.  Click Start or Revisit by Rental Properties and Royalties (Sch E).

To get there in Desktop:

1.  Click Federal Taxes across the top.

2.  Click Wages & Income across the top.

3.  Click I’ll choose what I work on.

4.  Scroll down to Rental Properties and Royalties.

5.  Click Start or Update by Rental Properties and Royalties (Sch E).
