If you are using the FREE version then you must either upgrade to Premier to enter a K-1 of any kind no matter what the results are  OR   use the IRS FREE FILE option if you qualify ...  https://www.irs.gov/filing/free-file-do-your-federal-taxes-for-free

If the K-1 was actually for tax year 2017 as you say in your post, you must buy and download the 2017 program to amend a 2017 tax return. You can't use the current 2018 program. Here is where to buy it: https://turbotax.intuit.com/personal-taxes/past-years-products/
