How to enter distribution of equipment when closing an LLC?

My LLC closed and we were not able to sell any of our equipment assets.  How do I record in TurboTax that the equipment was distributed between the two partners?   I have them recorded right now as a Disposition of Assets by Other means, and it is showing up as a loss of income.  Is that correct?  I would have thought it would be a gain for the partners since it was a distribution?
