How do you add Schedule E to an existing tax return

TurboTax will only generate Schedule E if it is a necessary component of your federal income tax return.

Schedule E is used to report income or loss from rental real estate, royalties, partnerships, S corporations, estates, trusts, and residual interests in REMICs.

The K-1 loss should be reported on page 2 of schedule E. It is possible that the loss is not deductible, in which case it may not appear on the schedule E.
