Healthcare premiums

My employer pays for my insurance 100%. There is no deduction on my paystub. For simplicity sake my employer let my wife and kids enroll into this plan but does not pay anything for them; we actually give a check monthly for the cost of their premiums. Now my wife is self employed, is she able to deduct the premiums she pays for herself and the kids as a business expense related to healthcare premiums?

Thanks for any insight

Sounds like she and the kids are added onto your policy, if so, the answer is no.  The policy would need to be in her name or the name of her business to qualify for the self employed health insurance deduction.
