Form 9465 line 11a

Line 11a of Form 9465 is asking you to input the minimum payment you can make toward the installment agreement you are proposing.

If you do not enter an amount the IRS will compute the lowest amount which is calculated by dividing the balance due by 72 months.

Based on your balance due (total) of $100, the installment agreement  request does not meet the criteria for approval.

You can correct the error by removing the Form 9465.

Please delete the Form 9465 by the following steps:

1. Sign into your account and select your current return

2. Select Tax Tools on the bottom left and then Tools (see attached tax tools)

3. Select Delete a Form (see attached image)

4. Find the form 9465, and select delete next to it

Whatever amount I put in 11a, even the number 0 or if I leave it blank, turbotax will not let me file. It keeps saying, its over the max or its too low. Its not making any sense at all. Someone please help.

Try taking your balance due and divide by 72 months.  For an example, if you owe $7200/72=$100.  See if Turbo Tax will allow you to accept that.
