My husband and I attend a 3 day seminar that discussed best choices for retirement such as investment and tax. We flown domestic to attend it, but we went a few days early. The estimated cost was $9,000:
flight $2,000
lodging(6 days) $3,000
seminar $2,000
food and other $2,000
I was wondering if we could deduct any of the expenditures listed above. Please advise?

Sorry no ... any of those deductions were removed from 2018 thru 2025 with the new tax rules.
Okay, thank you! Can you provide me with the tax rule code?
