Owner of LLC

I realized that input the wrong owner on my 2022 taxes compared to 2021 and was wondering if I needed to amend the return.

@lalaland1123 look at the form 1040-SE to see whose name and social security number appears at the top. It will likely be yours. so, if this is true, you'll have to file an amended return to correct this because the self-employment income is going to the credit of the wrong person at the Social Security Administration. also, the SE-Tax computed on the form and QBI deduction computed on form 8995/8995A may be wrong as a result which could affect other items in the return.

What question did you answer incorrectly? What answer did you give, and what should it have been?

If the issue is related to an LLC, is it a single-member LLC or multi-member?

If it is multi-member, are you and your spouse the only members? If so, what state are you in?

Has the LLC made an election to be treated as a C corp or as an S corp for tax purposes?

Did you report the LLC on Schedule C in your tax return, or did you receive a Schedule K-1 from the LLC?

who you list as owner and who should have been listed?  also, was this a schedule C, Scorp, or Partnership?
