Other business expenses

I am using quick books self employed to help me with my taxes and I was told by a book keeper that using "other business expenses" would get me flagged for an audit . I am trying to figure out where to put my laundry expenses I am a massage therapist and I wash all my own sheets. there are a couple other items that I think it sounds like that category would be good for but I don't want to use it if that will get me in trouble.

I would include your laundry expense in Miscellaneous Expense and label it "Laundry Expense (see screenshot below)." Using Other Business Expenses for a new Jaguar might trigger an audit but putting your laundry there certainly won't.
