Needed answers about amended tax

Trying to figure out after I did my taxes it says 5900 and is that the amount that I will owe or receive

If the amount is in red then you will owe that amount, or it states amount due.  If the amount is in green, then that is a refund.  Hopefully, when you amended your return that you entered that the amount you received or paid with your originally return.
