Open your Schedule C in FORMS mode.

Click on 'Open Form' and type 'Schedule C' in the search box (screenshot).

Click and highlight 'Schedule C: Profit or Loss from Business' and click the blue 'Open Form' at the bottom of the window.

Scroll down to Part I, Line 1e, which is a W-2 marked 'Statutory Employee'.

Since you didn't enter any W-2, you can delete the amount there, as well as QuickZoom to the W-2 Worksheet (screenshot).

I have not used my business in all of 2019.  Why is Turbo Tax asking me to put in an amount on Schedule C, Part I, line 1e?  It's the only mistake I have.  If I right click on it, it lets me override, but still doesn't correct the mistake.  There is no delete button either.  What can I do?

On your W2, where you check for retirement income, there is a box for statutory employee. That is what travels to the sch C, part 1 line 1e. Please go back and review your W2. It would be easy to click the wrong box.

Since you did not use the business, the return can be deleted. Here are the methods:

Online version:

  1. Open or continue your return in TurboTax.
  2. Locate Tax Tools
  3. Select Tools
  4. See the pop-up window Tool Center
  5. Choose Delete a form
  6. Select Delete next to the form/schedule/worksheet in the list
  7. Follow the instructions

Desktop windows version:

  1. On the top right, there is a FORMS button.
  2. Click on FORMS.
  3. The program shifts and you see a list of forms on the left hand side.
  4. Locate the form you want to delete.
  5. Click on the form name.
  6. Below the form, bottom left, select DELETE FORM button.
  7. Click on Step by Step to return to the program.

MAC desktop:

same as windows except step 6. Click delete on keyboard instead.

I think this is the delete button you are missing, at the business.
