When entering utility expenses for a home based business, do I add up the utilities for the entire year, or do I just average it?

If you operated the home based business from January through December of 2016, then you'll just enter the yearly total of those expenses. However, if you did not operate the home based business for all of 2016...then use the utility amounts only for those months that you operated the home based business.

If you operated the home based business from January through December of 2016, then you'll just enter the yearly total of those expenses.
