Yes, you would file a Schedule C with your 1040. Hopefully you've kept records of your income, as well as your expenses. If not, you should start keeping a record. It doesn't have to be anything fancy, it can be as simple as keeping a journal, and your receipts, and then reconciling those items with your bank statements. For this year, if you haven't kept a written record, you can still compile one using receipts, and bank statements from 2016. It takes a little more work to go back and do it after the fact, so moving forward really consider keeping your records up to date through out the year.
