Try using the steps shown in the following TurboTax help article to get to your Schedule C to find your vehicle expenses:
You may also enter Schedule C in the search box after you have logged into your TurboTax Online return.
I seem to be going in circles here. I tried this before when I found this article. I can edit my self employment income, but no where do I see anything about a vehicle. Where can I find and remove the vehicle from schedule C?
When you are in the Schedule C business activity, scroll to find 'Vehicle' then edit or delete your vehicle. If you scroll through the expenses and you don't see 'Vehicle' select to 'Add more expense categories' and scroll to 'Vehicle'. If you must do the latter, then your vehicle has already been removed.
It's not clear why you want to delete your vehicle in your business, however, this vehicle will be a tax asset until it is sold, traded or junked. Be sure to keep all of the records for the time it was used for business so that you are prepared for the taxes when you do get rid of your vehicle. In tax law a sale or a trade are both treated like a sale and must be reported to recapture the depreciation expense (this includes using the standard mileage rate).
Thanks for the feedback! I went through and confirmed that I needed to add a vehicle in other expenses, so it isn't there anymore. I'm asking because as it reviews my return, it keeps asking me about details for my vehicle that it's missing. I believe I tried to add it last year for 2024, but I decided to not use it. It must have saved some of those details. I went through to the end and it isn't asking me questions about my vehicle any more. It was confusing.
