I itemized my fed deductions; why didin't turbotax create a schedule A?

It might be because your standard deduction is greater. See What's my standard deduction for 2018?

• The 2018 standard deduction is nearly double the 2017 amount. 
• Our estimate is that nearly 90% of taxpayers will now take the higher standard deduction, up from an estimated 70% last year.

To create a Schedule A in TurboTax CD\Download:

1. In the upper right hand corner of the screen, click on Forms.
2. In the upper left hand corner of the screen, next to Errors, select Open Form.
3. Under the Search or Browse the list of available forms, type in Schedule A.
4. In the drop down menu, click on Schedule A: Itemized Deductions and Open Form.
