I have two Schedule C Car & Truck expense worksheets. Part I Line 8 on one of them calculates right, the other is calculating wrong. How do I fix it?

Having problems with the Schedule C - Car & Truck Expense Worksheet.  The same worksheet for the same vehicle calculated right last year, but this year it won't work.  I have a vehicle that was reported for the past few years and disposed of it this year.  Part I Line 8 is dividing the miles incorrectly.  Is there a way to fix it?  Do I have to delete the form and hope it'll allow me to re-enter an existing vehicle?

Because you stopped using the vehicle this year, the business use percentage may not be the same as last year. This fact may affect the calculations on the Car & Truck Worksheet.

Line 8 of the Car & Truck Worksheet is calculated from the business miles / total miles. The result may be adjusted for the number of months the vehicle was used during the year if you had no written record for the vehicle.

To check this, go to Forms Mode, find the Car & Truck Wks in the left column and click the name to open the form in the main window.

If "Yes" is not checked on Line 9b, then the percentage on Line 8 has been adjusted.
