I have begun to enter my information in TurboTax Self-Employed. Where do I enter the information to print and file the 1099MISC for amounts I paid to contractors?

You can use Quick Employer Forms to generate 1099-MISC forms for your contractors and e-file them with the appropriate government agencies. Please click this link for more information, including instructions on how to get started: FAQs for Quick Employer Forms

To access Quick Employer Forms from TurboTax Self-Employed:

• Open (continue) your return in TurboTax Online. (If your return isn't open, you'll need to sign in and click Take me to my return. Make sure you are in the Federal section and not the state section.)
• Click the drop-down arrow next to Tax Tools (lower left of your screen).
• Select Tools.
• In the pop-up window, select Topic Search.
• In the I'm looking for: box, type create.
• In the results box, highlight create form 1099-misc or w-2 , then click GO.
• On the W-2/1099 Reporter screen, click Start here. (Click the screenshot below to enlarge it for reference.)
• This will open the Quick Employer Forms start screen. Click Continue, then select 1099-MISC and continue through the program.

Incomplete answer.   How do I access the Quick Employer Forms from TurboTax Self-Employed?    Must I purchase the service to have access to the 1099 area?   Nothing in the FAQs explains that.
